It is finally here! A free online course to learn the Erlang programming language, held by University of Kent, UK.

This course will help you to learn functional programming in Erlang. We don’t assume you have any experience with functional programming.

We’ll introduce pattern matching and recursion, to give you a powerful way of defining functions.

We’ll show you how to represent complex data structures, and how functions themselves become data for higher order functions.

We’ll round off the course with a couple of examples that show how larger-scale functional programs are built.
