Talk: Elixir makes Rob Conery very, very happy. Find out why! Talk Description:  Over the last six months I’ve been working with Elixir every day, non-stop. I’m lucky. I’m also semi-obsessed. Elixir has changed the way I think about programming and software in general. I’ve ditched side projects I’ve been working on for months so I can rebuild them in Elixir. I changed editors completely (Vim to Spacemacs) because of Elixir support with Alchemist. People keep asking me what’s so special about it and I keep saying “I wish I had an hour to just sit here and show you some beautiful Elixir”. In this talk I will show you some things that make me very, very happy about Elixir and the Erlang VM.  Agenda: 7:00 PM Drinks, Finger Food and Networking  7:15 PM Lightning Talk: "Redis Commands & Data Structures" by Dave Nielsen 7:30 PM "Things that make me very, very happy about Elixir" by Rob Conery8:30 PM Wrap-up About Rob Conery Bio from his website "My name is Rob Conery and I help developers of all sorts learn what’s new with technology.
